Nick + Hem = "nem"
Hi, my name is Nick Hemingway but by friends thought that was a mouthful so they started calling me “Nem”. I am a 23 year old developer lucky enough to be living in the beautiful city of Kelowna, BC. I graduated university in 2021 and have been working as a developer for Twin Creek Media ever since. During my time there I have gained plenty of experience developing websites/applications and have been given many opportunities to even spearhead entire projects on my own.
Development was a natural fit for me that I sort of came into by accident. Initially I started my university degree wanting to pursue photography and videography but one creative programming class was all it took to win me over. Outside of work I enjoy spending my time outside and have fun doing activities like camping, hiking and dirtbiking. I am a strong believer in work life balance!

Pack4U Website
This website is a good exaple of my ability to build clean, modern and impactful layouts while including fluid reactivity and animations.
National Storage Website
This website is a good example of my ability to develop clean webpages with fast load times without comprising quality.
TCM Persona Maker
I researched, developed and deployed this application in under 50 hours. This is a good display of my knowledge of single page application building, spearheading projects while producing quality work under pressure.
Noggn
Noggn was a project derived from my university degree’s capstone project. The idea was to build a realtime brainstorming app to help students better collaborate during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jabs Listing Management Website
The Jabs website was a unique build for a client who required a full back-end listing management system for their number properties. The system has features like setting apartment units availability, tagging by unit descriptors and location tags so users can see the listing on the overview maps.
This website
I needed somewhere to show off my work! So I designed the site in Figma and casually developed it on evenings and weekends. (I love CSS animations)
